Habitat :
Mountain streams, ricefields to coast on exposed coral flats.
Birdwatch note :
Uniform upper parts with broad white wing bar and dark patches on sides of breast. Common throughout most of the year. Unique bouncing or bobbing of tail while foraging and stuttering wing beats in flight.
