Habitat :
Coastal marsh, tidal flats and ricefields
Birdwatch note :
Common migrant. Black bill, black legs and yellow feet.
WBCP Note: The most common egret in Metro Manila. Seen along Manila Bay coastal areas of Paranaque and Navotas. Treated as a migrant but recorded throughout the year in Paranaque and suspected to breed there but nesting sites have yet to be found.
