I was walking in our farm one afternoon when I came upon this grass owl on a low tree. It was so cool. It would open its eyes for a little bit, look at me, and then go back to sleep. I think it knows me already. The unusual pose made me do a double take. The owls usually only show up after sunset. It was probably sunning itself, then fell asleep. This was one of those lucky breaks. It stayed in that position for a long time. It went back to sleep after I left.
