October 7, 2017 – Guided Trip for UP Mountaineers
University of the Philippines, Quezon City
Part of the UP Mountaineers activities for their applicants is a birdwalk in the UP Diliman campus with WBCP volunteers guiding the applicants.
October 7, 2017 – 1st Saturday Birdwatching by WBCP-Davao
Philippine Eagle Center, Davao City
The WBCP-Davao group held its monthly 1st Saturday Birdwatching activity with a big group attending this month’s event.
October 8, 2017 – Guided Trip at the Greenbelt Park
Makati City
WBCP volunteers, headed by Anna Gonzales, together with Ayala Land Sustainability unit, AyalaMalls Greenbelt, held a morning bird walk at Greenbelt in Makati, as part of ongoing initiatives with Architecture Steiner on Place as Memory, Memory as Place.
October 8, 2017 – WBCP Execom Meeting
M Cafe, Makati
After the guided birdwalk in Greenbelt, Makati, Execom members had a meeting at the M Cafe.
October 20-22, 2017 – 9th Borneo Bird Festival
Imago Mall, Sabah, Malaysia
The WBCP attended the recent 9th Borneo Bird Festival and participated in the various activities during the event.
October 21-22, 2017 – Taipei International Birdwatching Fair
Guandu Nature Park, Taipei, Taiwan
The WBCP also participated in the Taipei International Birdwatching Fair in Guandu Nature Park, Taiwan.
October 24-28, 2017 – Birdwatching with CMS Participants
LPPCHEA, Balanga City, and Taal Lake
As part of the activities of the 12th Conference of Parties (COP12) on the Convention on Migratory Species (CMS), delegates and guests of the conference joined a number of birdwatching trips in various site, guided by volunteers of the WBCP.
