The 9th Philippine Bird Festival was successfully held last February 28 to March 1 at the Asia’s Latin City – in Zamboanga. Themed “Pajaros: Bula Sin Miedo, Sin Lingasa” in Zamboanga’s Chavacano language means “Birds: Fly Without Fear, Without Worries”. The festival started off with a soft opening of a 2-day Pre-festival tours engaging PBF9 delegates to exciting bird watching trips to nearby barangays within the heart of Zamboanga, the Victoria Wetlands and Mt. Baluno. Here’s a glimpse of the festival activities in a timeline presentation.
